EEASA 2022 Call for Abstracts

The Environmental Education Association of Southern Africa, the Namibian 2022 Local Organising Committee and the University of Namibia invite you submit abstracts for EEASA’s 40th conference.

Submission deadlines is 17 June 2022. (PLEASE NOTE CALL FOR ABSTRACTS HAVE BEEN CLOSED)

EEASA 2022 is a hybrid conference and you can present either face to face or online. Please indicate when submitting your abstract if you will be presenting face to face or online.

Presentations may be in the following formats:

• Short paper presentation (15 mins)
• Workshops (60 min)
• Market place showcasing sustainability practices • Round table discussions (60 min)
• Poster Presentation

Registration Details 

EEASA 2022 REGISTRATION OPTIONS

Check in Monday 22 August 2022, check out Friday 26 August 2022. Please note costs are in Namibian Dollars (NAD). Please use currency converter if needed. https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/

The conference options only offers shared accommodation. Please note if you would like to book single accommodation please book and pay for the conferencing with NO accommodation option and you can book for your own single accommodation directly with any of the suggested hotels below. The conference will take place at the University of Namibia, main campus and the shared accommodation option is at the Windhoek Country Club.

Registration Options for Non Namibians 

LATE REGISTRATION - TILL 12 AUGUST 2022

  • Late Registration and Payment with sharing accommodation (Registration by 12 August 2022) – N$5 500
    (includes conference material, EEASA membership, 4 nights sharing accommodation, breakfast, lunches, dinners, airport transfers, and excursion)
  • Late Registration and Payment WITHOUT accommodation (Registration by 12 August 2022) – N$3 000
    (includes conference material, EEASA membership, lunches, dinners, excursion and airport transfers)

REGISTRATION DURING CONFERENCE

  • Registration during the conference with accommodation – N$6 000
    (includes conference material, EEASA membership, sharing accommodation, breakfast, lunches, dinners, excursion and 4 nights accommodation)

  • Registration during conference WITHOUT accommodation – N$3 000
    (includes conference material, EEASA membership, lunches and dinners)

DAILY ATTENDEE

Daily Attendee (no accommodation) N$800.00 per day

VIRTUAL ATTENDANCE

Virtual attendance for the full duration of the conference – N$ 250
